Trying to catch up on exam revision used to be the bane of our lives. We would be given hints and ideas by the teacher concerned but in the grand scheme of things, it was impossible to concentrate and take in the flood of information hitting us in one go. Today’s youngsters have completely different learning methods. Teachers know how hard it is to get children to settle down and take in a subject, especially if it is not a favourite. They device new methods of recall and of course, the examination papers are completely different now. Instead of a few deadly open and shut questions, they have introduced multi choice answers. Youngsters are encouraged to discuss their findings and to speculate on other viewpoints.
There is no doubt that the children going through upper school today are really lucky, they have tremednously dedicated teachers, enthusiastic and who love to pass on their knowledge.
