Comparing Online Courses to University Degrees

It is a fact that many young people today expect to go to university to complete a degree as part of their education, however this can easily end up costing a fortune (with many students ending up paying at least £9000 per year in tuition fees here in the UK alone).  There are some alternatives to the traditional degree course however, and these come in the form of online courses.

Online courses work out much better value for money than traditional degree courses, offering the same educational value without the extreme cost.  You will have to pay a few hundred pounds for a realiable course, however this is a drop in the ocean compared to the standard £27000 for a three year course!

One downside of taking online courses instead of going to unversity is that you do not get the same social life side, which is a large part of the university experience.
